A social weekend of thrills and spills in the waves, this two day surf camp is designed for the already hooked surf kayaker as well as those that may be new to this exciting and dynamic sport. Cabin accommodation in Huskisson will give us a base of operations from which to stage this laid back weekend of Surf Kayaking Technique Instruction, Free Surfing time and a chance to try the range from Mega Surf Kayaks Australia regardless of whether you have your own surf machine yet or not.

 

Cave Beach is a sand bottom beach break with a point that works well in most conditions. Its uncrowded shore and gradual beach slope provides us with the perfect spot with a mix of waves for all levels. Being mobile for this weekend also gives us a chance to head to other breaks close by to pick the best ones for the conditions on the weekend. A BBQ dinner is provided on Saturday night for all Surf Kayakers and a morning tea will be provided on both days of the weekend to help us keep fueled for action.

   

Cave Beach Surf Camp Itinerary:

Friday
•    3pm onwards Arrive Huskisson Holiday Cabins
      (Cost included for both nights)
Saturday
•    8:00am – Instructional Beach Session                       + Schedule subject to change according to Weather Conditions
•    8:45am – Surf Practice session and Individualized Tuition
•    10:30am – 11:15 Morning Tea (Provided) Break
•    11:15am – 12:30pm – Surf Practice Session and Individualized Tuition               
•    12:30pm – 1:30pm Lunch Break                                 
•    1:30pm – 3:00pm Afternoon Free surf session
•    6pm – BBQ Dinner (Provided)
Sunday
•    8:00am – Surf Kayak Competition Technique
•    8:30am – Social Competition if Numbers allow or Free surf with Individualized Tuition
•    10:30am – 11:15am Morning Tea (Provided) Break
•    11:15am – 1:30pm Weekend Wrap up, Lunch and Pack up

COST: $450.00 per person (Includes Tuition, Cabin Fees, BBQ Dinner and Morning Tea on both days)
